Berlin would not have even been considered a reliable area for property investment several years ago, but all of that has been changing recently.  Berlin has kept low property prices while prices all around the world have been steadily increasing.  This makes Berlin a viable market for those overseas investors looking to invest their money in Germany.

Research and learning are also very important areas in Berlin with approximately 108 public libraries and 62,000 scientists in research.

Berlin is also noted as having one of the most vibrant nightlife scenes out of all the European countries.  There are numerous nightclubs that have developed from the underground culture that prospered after the Berlin Wall fell.  The annual Karneval der Kulturen is a multi-ethnic street parade similar to those you would see in other cities such as Rio de Janeiro.  There are also several other celebrations and festivals that take place throughout the year.
